Echolocation

Nightsong by Ari Berk

Have children play an easy echolocation game. The children form a circle and one child is chosen to be the bat and the other child is moth. “Bat” is blindfolded and calls out ‘moth’ and moth must respond by saying ‘bat’. Moth can move around and bat must try and find him. The kids in the circle have to alert the bat when either he or the moth come close to them.
